Alan Duff Berman: Performance

As a performer I present music that is not typically played by guitarists—there are already so many players performing the canon that I have instead chosen to surround myself with uncommon music from the distant past and the relative present that inspires ongoing inquiry and excitement. Some of the composers listed here have kindly dedicated works to me; the majority are composers whose works I or others have transcribed for the guitar.
